Verikai

Verikai is an insurance technology company leveraging alternative data and machine learning to change the way the industry views risk. It aims to help insurance companies improve underwriting precision, speed and efficiency.

Verikai's database includes more than 4,000 behaviour attributes for 250+ million people in the USA and provides deep insight to these individuals’ health risks. Its modelled over 25m unique claimants.

The company was part of the InsurTech NY 2020 accelerator program. 

In July 2020 Verikai raised $6m in Series A funding, in a round led by ManchesterStory. The startup said it would use the funding to build its corporate structure, and expand its sales and marketing efforts.

In October 2020, Verikai underwent a full rebrand of its logo, colours and website in preparation for the release of their broker/marketplace product, which is to launch at the end of 2020.

In September 2022 Verikai launched a new product, Med/Rx, which will provide insurers with insights on medical claims and prescription data.
