Troo Life

Launched in 2015, Troo is a life insurance company based in the Philippines. From its end-to-end integrated IT platform in the cloud, Troo offers its users a range of life insurance products, including accidental death, critical illness, accidental disablement and more.

With bancassurance operations commencing on the year after launch, Troo also offers a variety of products to improve the financial wellness of its customers, including credit, legacy, and umbrella coverage.

Troo is a 50-50 life insurance joint venture between East West Banking Corporation, a bank based in the Philippines, and Ageas Insurance International NV, a global insurance company with presence in 16 countries in Europe and Asia. Troo's aim is to leverage both EastWest Bank's 400-plus branch network and deep understanding of Filipino consumers and Ageas' 190-plus years of insurance and asset management experience, data analytics, and training capabilities, to become the country's premier insurance business.
