In 2019, the insurtech startup obtained an insurance brokerage license to bring its digital insurance platform to Singapore consumers. According to the company, they are having "advanced discussions" with insurers in Singapore to launch products including marathon insurance, fitness insurance, spectacle insurance and female-centric policies such as breast and cervical cancer insurance. Next in the startup's sights? Expansion into Indonesia, Malaysia and the broader South-east Asian markets.
In July 2022 health and fitness company StepSetGo teamed up with Symbo Insurance to launch a new health insurance product, SSG Health Insurance on the former's app. Users will be able to access a number of benefits and have the chance to lower their premiums through Walking Challenges.
