Mutumutu

Mutumutu is technology-based life insurance platform that rewards its users that maintain a healthy lifestyle, returning up to 30% of their insurance instalments. Mutumutu offers insurance for loss of income, serious illness or injury, disability and death. It was created by Prague company builder CreativeDock.

Mutumutu returns 20% of a users monthly insurance cost if they regularly exercise, an additional 5% if they don't smoke, and another 5% if they visit their doctor for a preventative check-up every two-years. Currently, the startup monitors walking, running and cycling, however this is to be extended to include yoga, swimming and other fitness and sports classes.

Through CreativeDock Insurance Holding, Mutumutu received a €1.1m investment from Societe Generale Assurances in February 2020. The investment will be put towards strengthening the existing partnership with Komercni Pojistovna, the risk carrier of Mutumutu in the Czech market, and to help the startup scale over 2020.
