Find out moreKasko is a London based startup providing whitelabel platform (website and app) for digital businesses to sell insurance products. The startup offers an API-powered agile insurance product and distribution platform that operates between digital customer touch points and legacy IT systems.
Kasko's software allows their customers to sell insurance products at the point-of-demand using a plugin or API. Their focus is on providing flexible insurance to allow companies to provide their customers with contextually relevant insurance products (i.e. annual, short term, usage-based). As well as providing a number of bespoke insurance options for test driver coverage, car rental companies, car and camper sharing, and flexible travel insurance, they offer a number of integration options ranging from simple iFrame to full API-based workflow integration.
The platform offers insurers and brokers microservice architecture, allowing modular service selection and flexible integration of best-in-class third-party technologies. They also offers different operational and integration options with legacy IT, to meet your needs and match your infrastructure capabilities, from sandboxing solutions to full integration. Lastly the Kasko platform offers workshops on digitisation and product development, and PMO implementation guidance to insurance and broker firms.
Kasko is also available to digital businesses offering product design assistance, REST API to connect workflows and checkouts at the relevant customer touch-points, mobile first UI, flexible product framework, flexible payment and collection methods, and comprehensive reporting of transactions, commissions, conversions and A/B tests results.
During the global Covid-19 pandemic German insurer Basler (of the Baloise Group) recognised that any children of their 2m policyholders currently unable to attend school would not be insured for accident/injury in the home. Partnering with Kasko, a platform was launched in 4 days, enabling all existing customer to register their kids for free cover - one of 60 such products Kasko has built for insurers since 2015.
Kasko took part in the fourth cohort of the Lloyd's Lab in April 2020 and was part of the InsurTech NY 2020 accelerator program.
That same month, the company partnered with OCC (Oldie Car Cover), to launch flexible classic car cover in Austria in 8 weeks. OCC serves over 120,000 vehicle owners.
