Halodoc

Halodoc is a healthcare network platform. The company connects users to a network of over 19,000 licensed doctors, 1,000 certified partner pharmacies through medical delivery service ApotikAntar, and licensed medical laboratory services. Users can communicate with these medical professionals via chat, video and voice call.

Founded in 2016 and based in Jakarta, the startup company has won a number of awards, including Forbes' 2018 Indonesia Choice Award. Halodoc's SaaS platform enables 24/7 doctor tele-consultations, medicine purchase and delivery, lab services at home, and customer support. Halodoc serves an average of around 7 million patients per month throughout Indonesia.

In July 2019, it was announced that Allianz X, the digital investment unit of Allianz Group, were investing in Halodoc to expand their healthcare services and availability in Indonesia. The amount invested was undisclosed, however from three funding rounds Halodoc has raised close to $100 million.

During August 2023 Halodoc raised $100m in a Series D funding round led by Astra Digital, a subsidiary of diversified conglomerate Astra International. At the time the company said it had 20 million monthly active users on its platform.
