GOQii’s smart tech-enabled healthcare platform focuses on preventive healthcare ecosystem. Its Smart Health Ecosystem integrates tools including real-time personalised coaching, a Health e-commerce store, scheduling health check-ups, a health locker, a ‘GOQii Cash’ program where healthy behaviour is rewarded with cash discounts and insurance discounts based on health management data and live coaching by experts on GOQii Play, the health OTT platform. GOQii focuses on sustained engagement and goal reinforcement and offers an ecosystem as a single integrated solution.

As of 2020, the company also offers devices that monitor temperature and feature integrated pulse oximeters.

The startup is using the recorded health data to develop new insurance policies with insurance partners.

GOQii investors include Mitsui, NEA, Edelweiss, Cheetah Mobile, Mr Ratan Tata and Mr. Vijay Shekhar Sharma. In June 2019, Bollywood star Akshay Kumar contributed to the company's undisclosed Series C round, which was rumoured to be around $70m. At the time, the company reported a valuation of $200m and a user base of around 2.7m. It stated it aimed to aggressively grow and quadruple its user base by the end of 2019.

GOQii is headquartered in California with offices in Mumbai and Shenzhen. Initially focused on the Indian market, the startup has expanded into Japan, and planned to use its Series C investment to expand into new geographies such as Singapore, Hong Kong and Malaysia.

In August 2020, GOQii revealed plans to expand its operations to the UK, Japan and SE Asia by the end of the year. The move comes after the company saw a surge in sales during the global Covid-19 pandemic.

In March 2022, just a month after raising $50M Series C funding, GOQii has raised a further $10M. The new funds are going to be invested in company's new health metaverse, with the aim of finding new ways of making healthcare more accessible.
