Fidel has developed an API for businesses to access real-time card payment data and link payment cards with mobile and web apps.
Fidel makes transactional data accessible through a single access point so businesses can create web and mobile applications using real-time payment data. By linking customer payment cards (Visa, Mastercard and American Express) to reward programs, businesses can use payments to improve customer experience and loyalty.
Fidel's clients include Klarna, Avios and Royal Bank of Canada.
In September 2019, Fidel raised an $18m Series A round, led by Nyca Partners and QED Investors. The startup has stated it will put the funding towards hiring, product development and international expansion in North America, the Nordics and the Asia Pacific region.
Fidel has a team of around 30, and offices in London, Lisbon and North America.
