Dialogue overview

Dialogue, founded in 2016, is a virtual healthcare platform that enables employees and their families to contact medical professionals directly through the Dialogue mobile or web app. As well as Doctors, the app also offers access to psychologists, nutritionists and more. Dialogue also uses data analytics and AI to anaylse patients data to better triage choices in hospitals and doctor's surgeries. It is currently undergoing a pilot project with Centre Hopitalier de l'Université de Montréal and Hopital Berlin-Buch.

Dialogue has over 400 clients, including National Bank, SSQ Insurance and Cirque du Soleil.

In 2019 Dialogue announced it had raised a $40m Series B, led by Caisse de dépôt et placement du Québec and Holtzbrinck Ventures. Portag3 Ventures, White Star Capital and National Bank of Canada were amongst some of the other participants. CEO Cherif Habib stated that the investment would be used to consolidate the startup's Canadians expansion and further expand in Europe.

Canada Life partnered with Dialogue to offer its benefit plan customers access to Dialogue's bilingual healthcare platform and integrated health services, which include 24/7 live chat with healthcare professionals.

In March 2021 Dialogue raised around $100 million through its initial public offering after selling around 8.3m common shares. Dialogue stated that it plans to launch new health and wellness programs following the closing of the IPO.
