Canapi Ventures closed its inaugural fund of $545m in January 2020. Its investors include the Canapi Alliance, a group of 35 banks and strategic investors, which will also serve as a distribution network for future portfolio startups. 

Canapi Ventures was founded on 2018 and is based in Wilmington, North Carolina.
