C-Quence

C-Quence is an InsurTech MGA start-up led by ex-AIG CEO, Jacqueline McNamee. In 2019, the team announced it had gone live with its underwriting platform, C-Q Elements, as well as its management liability product, ML5.

According to the start-up, the platform features the use of high-quality third party data, a significantly reduced question set for quotes and underwriting with automated pre-bind compliance checks of the customer.

In addition, if a risk falls outside the automated process, system-driven referral recommendations will work to reduce administrative overheads and speed up underwriting decisions.

According to the MGA, ML5 is a modular product which lets brokers combine management liability cover with up to four other covers and tailor options within each module to suit individual customer needs.

In November 2019 C-Quence partnered with Cytora to launch a P&C suite in 2020, utilising Cytora's commercial insurance API and C-Quence's underwriting and transaction platform C-Q Elements.
