Brain Navi

Brain Navi Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (Brain Navi) was founded in August 2015. It focused on designing and developing medical devices that can assist surgeons during medico-surgical interventions.

Brain Navi has developed the location system Nao Trac, which can provide precise information and real-time images to reduce the risk of surgical complications during neurosurgery. It is an 'autopilot surgical navigation robot' with machine vision specially designed for cranial neurosurgery. Neo Trac is currently in the design and development stage.

In 2020 the company developed a new robot that can perform autonomous nose swabs testing for Covid-19. The new robot uses some of the systems of Nao Trac, and has successfully performed trial cases at the Hualien Tzu-Chi Medical Centre.

The company is headquartered in Hsinchu Biomedical Science Park Incubation Center, Taiwan, though cooperates with Silicon Valley prototype development company Triple Ring Technologies to develop prototypes.
