Berkshire Hathaway overview

Berkshire Hathaway is a multinational conglomerate holding company headed by its President & CEO, Warren Buffet. The company owns, manages and oversees subsidiary companies. Some of their wholly-owned subsidiaries include GEICO, Fruit of the Loom, and Helzberg Diamonds. Berkshire Hathaway also holds a significant minority in American Express, The Coca-Cola Company, Wells Fargo, and IBM. The company is considered to be the ninth largest public company in the world, according to Forbes Global 2000 list.

In 2019, Berkshire Hathaway announced the launch of its comprehensive insurance product for small business, THREE. Currently available in Texas, Illinois, Connecticut and Nebraska, the "game-changing" three-pager covers the likes of workers compensation, multiple liability coverages (including general liability, errors and omissions, and cyber), property, auto, and more.

In August 2022 Berkshire Hathaway announced it was expanding its current partnership with Zesty.AI to deploy its wildfire risk model, Z-Fire. The partnership extension comes as Zesty.ai's model has allegedly outperformed BH's own wildfire risk model.
