Baloise Group provides insurance and pension solutions. For over 150 years, they have offered various non-life insurance products, including accident, health, general liability, motor, fire and other property, marine, credit protection, and legal expenses insurance. Today, they employ 7,300 people across offices in Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany and Liechtenstein.

Located in Europe, with its Head Office in Basel, the Baloise Group is a provider of prevention, pension, assistance and insurance solutions. Its core markets are Switzerland, Germany, Belgium and Luxembourg. In addition to insurance, in Switzerland, Baloise Insurance works together with Baloise Bank SoBa as a specialised financial services provider. Baloise Asset Management (BAM) provides portfolio management services. The Group offers pension products to retail customers throughout Europe from its competence centre in Luxembourg.

In July 2018, Baloise announced a new cyber insurance offering designed for SMEs.

The following year, in response to a lack of coverage for essential tools such as a copier or cash register, Baloise introduced single item insurance for business customers.

In September 2020, Baloise invested in startup Houzy to expand its Home ecosystem. Houzy connects its customers directly with the right partners, whether they are buying, renovating, maintaining or selling their property.
