AXA UK provides insurance products, healthcare plans, and wealth management services in the United Kingdom and internationally. It offers personal insurance products that include car, home, travel, and breakdown insurances; and business insurance products that comprise public liability, employers' liability, professional indemnity, van, commercial and residential landlord insurance, commercial property, fleet and haulage, and shop insurances. It also offers personal, business, and international health covers; and life insurance products.
In addition, the company offers Elevate, an online investment platform that helps users in managing their investments; retirement wealth accounts; corporate investment services; annuities; Family Suntrust, a pension for groups, such as families or business partners; and investment bonds for longer-term investments.
In October 2020, AXA announced plans to merge its three healthcare brands - AXA PPP healthcare, Health-on-Line, and its employee support service, Health Services/ICAS UK - into one: AXA Health. The company hope the move will drive innovation and speed up the development of new wellbeing propositions.
AXA UK selected Cognizant to help them with their IT operations modernisation in August 2022. Currently AXA UK is on a journey of transforming its core technology ecosystem to create a more agile, data-rich environment. As part of the multi-year agreement, Cognizant is set to provide cloud migration services and other multifaceted services to help AXA create a platform and drastically improve customer experience.
In October 2022 AXA launched a new digital insurance brand called Moja which will be initially available to auto insurance customers on some price comparison websites and directly on mojainsurance.co.uk. Later this year, Moja will be also launched on other websites as well. The new brand will offer products from AXA and Swiftcover. This is the first time that AXA Retails has developed a new brand in-house. It is a digital only offering targeted at customers who live their lives through their phones and tablets.
